AF 858 Sungrown

Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, i want to preface my question by saying that i just ordered a 5er of the new AF858 SG's because all the hype. What can i say, i'm a sucker.

But what is it with sungrown cigars that people go crazy for, especially these AF858? I have never tried an AF sungrown, but have tried other brands. Thanks.

it's limited production fuente, man! isn't that enough?????lol
for me, they are just good flavorful cigars that don't cost an arm and a leg. that flavor comes without spice, pepper or a kick in the nuts. something that is not that common nowadays.

I can't get enough of them. The OR is one of my fav's. I think the sweetness of them is a major attractant.

One of the best cigars on the market today for it value and satisfaction is the AF SG Cuban Belicoso, never go wrong with that choice imho.

They're a good smoke. I personally wouldn't chase them.

Never had an 8-5-8 SG but looking forward to one that a buddy is generously sending me.

As a self proclaimed lover of sungrown cigars I'm ashamed at the absolute dirth of sungrown Fuentes that I've yet to try ... AF Hemingway SG's, AF Cuban SG's, AF Magnum R's, AF 8-5-8 SG's ...

The Queen B is a nice, relaxing smoke. And speaking of Fuente blended SG's ... I'm extremely fond of the Ashton VSG SG line (especially the Enchantment) ... but then again, who doesn't love a VSG.

AF Hemingway SG's are good. Better than the 858's....imho

Smoked one this weekend. Very nice cigar straight off the truck. If you can get them near MSRP I recommend doing so.

Sungrown 858s WHA? Mmmm I'll bet those are good. I had a maduro 858 the other night and it was good. As expected from Fuente. Had and love the 858 and SGs (got a box of each). Gonna have to look for these...

On a sungrown note. Was not impressed with the Rocky SG.

Read somewhere that the 858 filler blend differs from the fillers in the other vitolas in the series, making the 858 the bestseller by far in the line. Would anyone know more about the differences in the blends?
