  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

In humi Almost a year.

Obtained in a trade w a no longer active botl.
(I still talk with him every now and then)

Dark chocolate brown wrapper covered from the foot to the band in a cedar sleeve and finished off with a red ribbon on the foot.

Beautiful cigar. Smooth oily sheen on the wrapper. No veins. I mean you really gotta look for them.

Lit with problems. One end didn't want to burn.

I've been at this one for a bout 20 minutes now and have t been paying a lot of attention to the cigar as neighbors have come by to chat.

Then it went out due to lack of attention.

Relit and burn problems are now gone this is razor!

So I'm getting some good sweet flavors from it but they Are a little muttled.

Still waiting for this to pop.
(kinda like I remember the shark popping with flavor from the get go).

Pairing with both a victory hop devil and a Ron centario rum!
(not mixed)

Pairs much better with the rum!
But I also like the pallet cleansing affect of the carbonated beer!

This cigar is super smooth! No spice at all, nice sweetness and some earth and chocolate.

I'm still waiting for this cigar to give me the bedroom eyes!

Ash just fell at the 1/3 mark. Immediately met with a nice caramel type flavor.

Just took a puff and the wrapper was sparkling!
Like a sparkler on super Valium!

I've never seen this before from a cigar.
Am I high?
I do have a kickin nic buzz but that was odd.
(I'm not hot boxing , I feel I
Smoking very slow)

Finished this up in about 1.5 hours!
I could definitely smoke more of these.

I was very surprised atthe strength of this cigar.
I am a lightweight but thought this was med all the way.
More med full to me

Never seen a review done this way before! Interesting!
I personally keep reading the reviews on the Anejo's but have to admit I am just not a fan. I really, really want to like them from the flavors you and others get but I just don't have that palet. The only AF products I've found any enjoyment out of have been the Opus and GOF line.
Anyways...Thanks for the review!

I havent had any Opus yet - I fear the strength.

But I think that the Shark was light years ahead of this cigar and the GOF's Ive had.

I would say
Shark

GOF

Anejo 46

with a significant gap between the three.
I though this was a good cigar, but wanted more from it.
Wanted it to be a shark!
I know thats not fair.
