Decided to bust out one of the big boys tonight. Other than the MUWATs, this is the largest cigar I have smoked as I normally prefer a much smaller ring.
I first had one of these about a month ago and wasn't terrible impressed. It smoked pretty harsh, which I just chalked up to being a large cigar. I let the remainder rest since then and very happy I have.
A bit of spice on the first couple of draws, but not overly harsh or warm. The first third has had notes of leather and earth which actually work well here. Great smoke output which is always nice. Also, firm ash that hangs on for about an inch at a time and the burn is crisp.
It's a very hard packed stick so the draws are solid but not too tough. I don't feel like am working hard at smoking this. This stays lit on its own so I wouldn't recommend trying to rush this smoke.
