Prelight: Chocolate leather, light cedar, rose, wood

Cocoa coffee very light pepper, wood, wonderful spiciness, wrapper leaves a sweetness on the lips but hard draw, full body stick
Draw better after cutting it again, nice straight burn happening
Stick is running hot but could be that the patio is 104 today

2nd 1/3
Flavors are now smoother and creamer with all of the above flavors following but the light pepper note is increasing....

Last 1/3
Cocoa, coffee, with wood and spice gone, the pepper is now dry-ashy
Beside the draw issue all the way down the flavors where the best between 15% to 60% of the stick and the last 1/3 being the least enjoyable

Rookie Reviewer.

Little disappointing. The cigar looked beautiful. Dark, oily, seductive. It burnt inconsistently through the whole stick - it didn't run but it was never even. I felt like I was babysitting it - couldn't light, puff, and drift - I had to watch it and puff so it didn't go out.

Flavor was tasty, but subdued. One review I read (that had me aching to try this) used the phrase 'a nuclear explosion of pepper' - I didn't even get a firecracker. For a dark cigar it was very subdued. Tasty - chocolate and leather notes - but not intense by any means.

By the last third the cigar felt loose - squishy and soft to the pinch. I may try this again at some time in the future - but its not near the top of my list. I enjoyed the flavor but it was not as bold as I was expecting and it did not burn as I would have liked.
