  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Alec Bradley was robbed!

I'm sure they are well insured. Still a shame though.

I admit I am laughing at the idea of these people trying to sell massive quantities of stolen cigars... that's a common thing, I'm sure nobody will notice. LOL

If you get a "Cohiba" from someone in a few months and it looks and tastes suspiciously like an AB Prensado, you now know why. LOL

They have a huge following so I can see the 'value' in it. I was big into them when I started but now I've moved on to other taste. I hope AB company can get redemption on this and they that they took shit that is easy to reproduce.

If I was going to go through all that effort to steal cigars, it wouldn't be AB's lol
I'm actually somewhat serious about my post above. If you read the article, it says someone also stole $250,000 worth of Dutch Masters cigars. I wouldn't doubt for a second that they are taking these cigars, putting Cohiba bands on them and selling them for decent money... seems like a lot of work and hassle to steal cigars, reband them etc, but I wouldn't be surprised.

First of all this is a shame for anyone who owns a business to lose their inventory whether you are a fan of AB or not. I agree with the poster above that these will most likely be rebranded and some lowlife will be peddling them online as Cubans. As for the Dutch Masters, my guess is they were peddled on the street to make mary jane blunts.

Yeah I read a few things on this and also saw the article about he dutch masters. Alan was saying they have security measures in place at their warehouse but can't go into details on how they got past that. So I wonder if this is some kind of inside job?

Too lazy to check right now, but, IIRC, the overwhelming majority of such robberies have an inside connection.

Warehouse robberies do almost always have an inside connection... you are absolutely correct..
