  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

'Tis a sad day. We used to get Ovaltine when I was growing up. Damned cheap and we had to make those food stamps last.

Heres my personal recipe for hot chocolate (one personal serving):

Put 3 teaspoons of cocoa and 3 teaspoons of sugar into a mug. Gradually put in milk one teaspoon at a time and mash it around with the powder to make a paste. Add a little more till its almost smooth. Put it in the microwave for 30 seconds so the sugar melts and you get a chocolate syrup type substance. Then you can add flavorings (vanilla, chili, mint/almond extract etc) and slowly add more milk while stirring. Nuke it till its hot and stir some more. Then you can drink it!!

Other method: chop up some good chocolate (bakers chocolate works too) then heat up a mug of milk. Put the chocolate in another mug and wisk it as you add the hot milk. Very tasty and chocolatey this way and easy.

I dont see why anyone uses hot chocolate mixes!

Oh, it's chocolate milk?

Hershey's syrup or Nestle Quick here.
Well I get the chocolate malt flavor, which has both chocolate and malt and the sugar etc and you just mix it with milk and drink it hot or cold.

The best chocolate syrup in my opinion is the u-bet brand. You can make awesome chocolate milk with that or an egg cream.

There's a forum dedicated to chocolate. And if you thought cigars are expensive!
