TLDR version: Marvin is the man.

Before a recent work trip to Hawaii, I read an article that basically stated that the aloha spirit, if not dead, has been reduced to mere politeness. The author of said article has obviously never met MC808.

While surfing the internet I found this explanation of "Aloha":

"It was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaii. "Aloha" is more than a word of greeting or farewell or a salutation. "Aloha" means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. "

Within a few days of my arrival on the island, Marvin showed me all the good places to go smoke and GREATLY expanded my cigar horizons by introducing me to some truly great cigars. Further, Marvin introduced me to several local BOTL that treated me like a long time friend. I've never seen such hospitality.

The author was wrong. The Aloha Spirit is alive and well. Thank you Marvin for your generosity and hospitality.
