  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Have any of you guys ever had this beer? Apparently it's different every year, and they have been doing it for 35 years. I've never had a bottle of it before, but I am in beer heaven right now. Its extremely smooth with a nice malty core and mildly hoppy finish, with only the slightest touch of bitterness that presents after the beer has left the palate. It has a subtly sweet aroma, and all I can say is yummy! What a great Christmas beer! I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've tried this years or any others, as this is my first. Cheers!

I'm a huge fan of anything Anchor Steam, especially their Christmas ale. So far I've liked it better than last years especially with that touch of sweetness that it has, and if I can I might put one away to try it again next year. If you get a chance, try their Porter and Summerbrew, two more greats from Anchor.
