Heroes has UTS Maddies and Classic Maddies. I believe they're $10 or $14 each.

They also have Anejo 48, 49, and 50s. However, they're a cool $14 EACH. No difference in price for the difference in sizes. Weird.

I bought the last two 77s. Suckas.

I'm gonna go pillage the Pipeworlds tomorrow since I've got the day off.

vewy:

Heroes is violating their agreement with Fuente in a big way. they are a direcet account so they have to sell @ MSRP, which they are not. I would email Fuente, and throw a shitstorm at Heroes. they suck there anyway.

oh, Danny's shop doesn't have an Opus/Anejo account.

Vewy ...I thought it was pretty odd that heroes prices were the same for ALL sizes. Not to mention the fact they are $4.00 higher than PW...Don't get your hopes up for Anejo Sharks at PW....they are all out of sharks...beat you to the punch on wed....they do have Anejo 48,49, and 50's...and if you hurry you might be able to score 1 of the few BTL's

We have all the opus and Anejo's you could want for $30. I sold 10 46's for 27.50 each on Friday night. Greg (Willie) knows the owner better than I do. Maybe we can talk to him and get something worked out. Thanks for the great B-Day sticks Greg. That Anejo was fantastic. It has been such a long time since I have had one.

I thought it was odd on the prices as well. Heroes and Fuente have always had a very strange relationship. I spoke to the owner a few times about this. He says that Carlito actually likes the store, but the distributor does not. So while Carlito makes a personal exception to allow Heroes to keep their account despite the pricing, the distributor continues to hose them on their shipments every year so long as they keep marking up the prices.

If you'll notice with Heroes' stock... they're always the last to get it across any region and they always have the fewest to choose from. The owner said that this entire year... they've received only 4 total boxes of Anejos and 3 boxes of Opus.

Heroes isn't much for cigars anymore. They're prices have started to really skyrocket. I remember that PAM torpedos were $12 when I first started going to the store. They're now $16. The only cigars worth getting at the shop now are the Graycliffs.

Already have a few BTLs from each of the previous releases... don't care much for them. But I will definitely give the other Anejos a look, if they still have them.

legends, yup. however, H & L isn't selling at MSRP.

vewy, I find it funny that they basically admit that their distributor hoses them on shipments due to their pricing. Well, DUH. they're breaching their vendor contract, and if they wanted to, Fuente could stop shipping anything to them. That really pisses me off that Carlito (if true) allows that so blatantly. Someone, not me, should draft a really nasty email to Carlito. I would sign it. Just too lazy to write the thing. i don't have a secretary yet.

the owner is really good friends with one of the graycliff partners and gets great stock. ask him if he can get you some "genenums". holy shit that is a great cigar. made with cuban tobacco...but you never heard that from me :santa:

Jorge, most of the guys who work there now are freaking idiots. I usually wait until the owner is around to ask for any real insight into the cigars they've got or will get. The rest of the retards aren't worth the ground they stand on.

I'll keep in mind about genenums... sounds good.

Vewy:....I agree most of the people that work there know absolutely NOTHING about cigars!...My 19 mth old knows more about cigars....Whenever I call there I generally have to ask to speak someone that knows what the hell is going on here on earth....

Jorge:...The chics arent even all the hot...they look like the day shift at your local strip club
