  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A long time ago, when I was in the Navy, I met a beautiful girl named Christine. From May 1987 til July 1988, while she was at college and I was often at sea, we maintained and nurtured our relationship largely by mail. We did manage a lot of phone calls and a few get togethers in that time, but the postman was our savior.

We had each kept all our exchanged mail. Unbeknownst to me, Christine had spent much of the last two weeks collecting and laminating our correspondences and organizing them chronologically in a huge binder... 398 pages worth. She presented it to me as a gift Wednesday proclaiming it the best romance story she's ever read. She will always be my girl. We were wed May 27, 1989.
