Some of y'all know that I've been in Houston all summer learning how to be an elementary school teacher in the Teach For America program. It's been a heck of an experience. Thank a teacher for me if you get a chance--they work so darn hard!
Anyway, bright and early tomorrow morning I'm headed to Mississippi, where I'll be teaching for the next two years. I'm going to spend a few days at Delta State University, then sign my contract for the fall and find a place to live! (For those who are interested, my tentative teaching placement is in Marks, Mississippi.)
I'm really excited about all this, but I might not have internet access for a few days, starting tomorrow. Be well, all!
