Pacific Cigars Company Pte Ltd Hong Kong retains 100,000 sticks per year which it releases 5 yearly. They call it their Aged Cigar Program and they charge a premium to retailers. These cigars (some as old as 1995 vintage) are released once a year by PCC. They contact their leading retailers There is no secret to this program.
When (we) received the official 2006 Habanos s.a list for discontinued cigars, (we) requested PCCHK order 50,000 assorted sticks of what was available. From memory (we) received 27,000. That was a specific request and so (we) received the stock. Similarly, any significant retailer with a good relationship with PCCHK could do the same. They would not do it for grey market dealers or retailers outside of their region.
