My grand father used to make his own from wood that he kiln dries. Tried it one time, smoked a little cooler.

I have a few cigar holders. Gauges 38, 42, 48 briars from Mr Brog, and a lucite 38 from Updown Cigars. I use the 38's regularly, seems to cool down the smoke on smaller ring cigars.

Honestly did not even know these existed. I may pick one up in a common ring gauge just out of curiosity.
