BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Anyone know where I can get a srem for this pipe?

Well it is a nice pipe and you can always get a new stem, however to keep with the DR. Grabow stem you may have to send it into them. I don't remember what the charge was but seeing you have both parts I am sure they can do it for you no problem. You see unless you pay someone to remove the silver part and make it fit in the new stem it would be missing that from the new stem you buy. Again DR. Grabow will have it back to you like the pipe stem was made to start with. Second part that in some cases the new stem unless you request it also will not have the spade; from Dr. Grabow it should however I know someone that sent one in and it didn't. Some of my friends says they have always got them back with the spade some were not the right colors all came back white. What can we do right LOL... Another thing you could always get some Black CA and CA Set and make a fix. Some people have done that most times it is only a small hole but I have seen one with a chunk missing. Another thing to do is add a Rubber Bite guard to get you by for a little while until you can get it fixed right... I am sure and have seen people make Dr Grabow stems carve out the spade and looks great. I am sure wouldn't cost you to much.a 4. pipe nice find no matter..

actually, even though the author shape is not regular production DrG, they may have one just spare. i would think its would be worth contacting them directly. the push tennon with space for a filter is recent to current, and they may have one. plus, as the tennon has that expansion slot, it may be adjustable once you get it from the factory (widen or tighten a little, as need be).
may seem stupid for a $4 pipe, and you will pay probably three to five times what you paid already, but DrG can be great performers, and their author shapes are VERY well done. worth it, IMO.
