... that the email from the 419 scammers has really been on the rise of late?

You know ... the emails from supposed banking or governmental "officials" from Italy, Nigeria, South Africa, etc. wanting to split a secret cache of money with you. Or the Winning Lottery notices from the Netherlands, Greenland, etc.

I've not had any of these for years and now for the past couple of months I seem to be getting at least 2-3 per week.

Anyone play email games with these idiots? I'd like to, but figure it's not really worth my time.

Yes! definitly, i've recieved 3 or 4 recently.

I recieve one 419 scam a day every day.

Took a couple of them the full course. Go a couple of worthless checks for a 60,000 street rod that my boss owns.

We love to sit around and drink a few beers and mess with them.

Me too Josh...I wonder what percentage of the 6,592 emails in my yahoo bulk folder are from them? :dunno:

I always have fun with these guys. I reply and point out their many grammatical and spelling errors, then let them know that their illegal scam e-mail was received on a police department computer.

Of course I never hear from them, but I like to imagine them being a little startled by that.
