  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Anyone tried a 5 Vegas Limitada?

Just wondering if anyone has tried or heard anything about the 5 Vegas Limitada 2006 or 2007. I was thinking about picking up a 5-pack of the '06s to give it a try, but don't want to waste my money if they aren't good. Thanks for any input!:smokingbo

I tried a 2007 that I picked up at CI and I was thoroughly unimpressed, even at the low price. Not one of 5 Vegas best offerings. The Miami and Gold are far better. The Series A is just amazing - one of my absolute faves.

I have a box of the 2006's. They are a pretty good straightforward cigar. I agree though that the miami's might be better. Not a bad stick to buy and try, especially on Cbid. The 07's are vastly different, being mainly nicaraguan. I have not been able to try one of these yet.

Thanks for the opinions. My local B&M sell the '06 as a single so i may just give one a try out of sheer curiosity since it is only $6. I definitely agree with Source about the Series A as it is my favorite of the 5 Vegas line. I'll let you guys know if i try one.:smokingbo

I see the '08's are on Joe Cigar today. Anyone tried these? With opinions of previous years I've read so far, I'm not expecting to hear anything good. But, it doesn't hurt to ask...

I've had the '07 and '08. Both are good IMO. But, there are better cigars to be had for the price. I wouldn't make a special road trip to buy one, but I wouldn't mind having a couple around.

I have the 08's and 07's I like the 08 better than the 07, but it is still just not that great of a smoke. not terrible, but not wonderful. I got mine on C-bid basiccly because they came in a killer ceramic box with a 5 VEgas ashtray top. I keep them to give them away. I showed up solo to the local executive course yesterday and had brought a few. I asked the other guys if they wanted a smoke, and promtly gave 3 of them away to the rest of my group. They loved em. Made some new friends too.
