I have been looking at one of the Shuriken cutters, i dont think it would take the place of my palio but i though for 10 bucks plus s&h i might try it. anyone use one and like it or hate it?, what did it do to the cap when you were smoking it?
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
This. I was at a B&M who had one out on the counter when they first came out. Horrible draw. All kinds of build up at the slits. These were a flop for a reason.Tried it once and it wasn't for me. Had to chew the cigar way more than normal just to get a draw. And then it got real tarry due to pulling so hard for so little. I have smoked many of the same cigars with a straight cut with great results, so my only assumption was it happened based in cut. I think you're better off just buying an extra smoke with the $10, but tgat is just imvho. I know some people do like the shurikens
I'm sure one day, especially if you ask around you will find a shop or a brother who has one and you can try it and form your own opinion. Thanks for the response everyone i will stay away. Unfortunately im a sucker for doodads and gadgets i like all the little different thing to play with, luckily this time i wont waste money on it.
Save your money and use it to by another cigar. I had all the same experience the other folks said and more, they are HUGE in your pocket... I always carry my "tool" and that thing is way too big. I have been really liking a "V" cutter, less tar, better draw and it don't bugger up the cap.....glad to learn these aren't so ideal - I'd been considering ordering one to test out
