  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My local B & M has Arganese for $2.95 a stick. I don't remember the exact name but he said they were a 7 dollar cigar. He got them on a blowout so that's why the are so cheap. Has any one heard of this? I picked up a couple and will let everyone know what I think.

Well I must say for $2.95 it's not that bad. It was pretty decent. I had a lot of pepper flavor, but I have only had one. I kinda like to smoke 1 or 2 of the sticks before I form an opinion though. I have definitely had better and worse.

It's a good line, pretty decent as has been said. Not sure about it being a $7 stick, though, depending on the size. The ones I have are small robusto's.

I believe they were in the $5-$7 range a couple of years ago. Now you can buy a box pretty regularly for $40 or under. I've smoked the several of the flavors, but the ML3 is probably the best of the bunch.

Haven't tried them yet, but finally found a place that has them after recommendation from a (far away) friend. Over the weekend I was at a shop I hadn't been to before, and asked if they carried them. He said the rep had brought some by and the customer reaction was so negative he couldn't even give them away and had to throw them out.

Got a box of Arganese Maduro Figurados (perfectos) from Famous on the monster. Paid 35, threw in a sampler, made it 51 dollars... best thing was, I signed up for the Famous Revolution card, and first two purchases of 50 bucks or more get a 25 dollar credit. Presto, a box of 25 maduro perfectos and 5 aurora sticks for 26 dollars. You can't beat that!

And the Argansese Maduro is a wondeful cigar. The perfecto is a very handsome cigar, and it tastes as good as it looks. Lots of smoke, very earthy and chocolaty, slightly sweet, and smooth to the nub. I stashed some away for aging, and I bet it will be even better (especially for about a buck a stick!!!!!)
