Had these in the Humi for well over a year and I remember them being a great value so I decided to revisit one after W.B. gifted me a MoW Ruination and it was also very good.
Heres a little info I found out why these are probably so good:
"Manufactured at Tabacalera Fernandez in Nicaragua, Man O’ War is by far one of the best full-bodied cigars currently available. Not only are the tobaccos perfectly blended to create incredible complexity, but the quality and construction is also top-notch.
Man O’ War was developed by Abdel "AJ" Fernandez, a protégé of Don Alejandro Robaina, the man who is considered to be the “Godfather” of tobacco. After spending most of his life studying in Cuba under Don Alejandro, Abdel Fernandez moved to Nicaragua to begin producing his own cigars. After only 6 years, Abdel currently produces Rocky Patel’s Fusion, Indian Tabac 10th Anniversary, Padilla Habano, and Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet. However, of all the cigars produced at Abdel’s factory, he personally considers Man O’ War to be his best blend.
The secret to this full-bodied blend stems from its rare and expensive Habano Ecuador wrapper. The leaf is taken from the upper middle portion of the plant, known as viso, which is where some of the richest, oiliest and most coveted tobacco can be found. These viso leaves are then put through a three-year fermentation process that is personally overseen by Fernandez himself. Once this incredibly tasty wrapper is ready, it is combined with a blend of aged Nicaraguan filler, harvested from three separate farms. Abdel then personally proportions the tobacco, since this blend is one of his most closely guarded secrets, to create an incredibly rich and complex cigar that falls right in line with the best premium sticks on the market. These cigars have all been aged at least six additional months after being rolled, to insure that the wrapper blends harmoniously with the complex mix of filler."

Pre light draw is perfect and presents with huge amounts of semi sweet milk chocolate and tobacco flavors. Spice on the throat and tongue as well. Probably the best tasting chocolate prelight ever. Lit well except that it is windy out. So far spice is carried well in the 1st inch. Nicaraguan profile definitely! Man so sweet on th palate so far. And still such a perfect draw and decent amounts of smoke.
1st 3rd:
Spice is mellowing down in the back round with a flaky ash holding at 1 inch intervals. No relights but a uneven burn due to the constant breeze. Chocolate note is still prevalent. Can not tell you how much I love the sweetness of this cigar. Time has done this cigar wonders. Maybe 2 years almost. Still a good amount of smoke and the ambient aroma is good until the wind takes it away.
2nd 3rd:
More sweetness and spice is all but gone. Leather starting to come thru with some earthyness to the cigar now as well. Wind is still playing havoc with the burn but no touchups. Put the smoke thru the nose and the spice was almost ignorant. lol. Great finish from puff to puff as well. With the sweetness lingering on the tongue. Black/grey ash still holding at one inch intervals. I also tried take another retro-hale and it made me tear. WTF! I would have to rate this cigar Med-Full bodied right now as well.
Final 3rd: Ash still holding at 1inch plus intervals. Full body now and a little buzz. Probably puffing a little quick as well due to the wind. Leather is picking up and sweetness is gone. Dry finish on the mouth now as well. Not a ton of change in this cigar but I remember paying like 2 bucks a stick for these as well. A steal at that IMO. We'll see what else the last half hour brings about.
Last couple inches brought on more leather and spice started to come back. Ended at full body as well.
Final vedict: 1hr 25 mins. At 2 plus dollars I would smoke these all day and enjoy a ton!
