I know this is not exactly a rare cigar, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this great little smoke. This was my third VSG Enchantment. I've tried all the sizes of this line, and this is by far my favorite for its consistent burn and flavors.
Prelight draw has some nice woody flavors. Upon lighting, some strong flavors emerge immediately - not big spice blasts, but cocoa and coffee flavors come on strong. After a few puffs some light raisin sweetness kicks in and blends nicely into a dark chocolate finish.
About a quarter of the way through, I was clobbered with spice on the tip of the tongue. This continues intermittently for the rest of the smoke - never overpowering and always playing nice with the other flavors. For a full-flavored smoke and a short stick, it's amazingly complex.
The final puffs are filled with stronger cocoa and licorice flavors.
The thick, white ash on this cigar can last easily to the nub. Burn was even and consistent - no touch ups or relighting. I drank water, but this would go well with a big Zinfandel or a nice Tequila.
Smoking time: about an hour
Final score: 95
