Ashtray question

Didnt actually answer your question. A normal ashtray will have slots cut for a cigarette, usually too small to rest a cigar. The stirrup on a cigar ash tray is meant to hold the lit cigar end lout of the ashes and semi level so it will stay lit while resting. This would be hard to do with the slots on a cigarette ash tray. Last cigar ashtrays tend to be deeper as, well cigars are bigger than cigarettes and produce more ash and larger butts. You will find a cigarette ashtray will fill with one cigar or two. The STinky is great because it has stirrups of just the right size for most cigars, is deep to hold ash away from the resting cigar and just looks good to boot.
