This is my first review, plus I don't have the tastes for the many nuances of a cigar that a lot of people have. So please bare with me. This was a well constructed cigar. It is a Pyramid shape, 6.5x54. I would call it a med. brown/chocolate color. The most out standing visual of this cigar is the three tan colored circles down the middle of the stick below the second band. The circles represent the keys of a trumpet. I was told by the sales person that the tobacco mix changes at each circle. I don't believe that just from smoking it. More on that later.
The first quarter (approx.an inch) started out very harsh. I have herd of it called "black peppery". To me it was very harsh. After that it mellowed out. It stayed a strong med threw the rest of the smoke. The flavor didn't change as each circle burned up. That cigar lady lied to me. It wasn't good, just tolerable.
The pyramid/beli shapes aren't my favorite, it just doesn't sit right in my mouth. Right after light up the darn thing almost burnt my toungue it was so peppery. Durring the smoke I had to relight it three times. At times the ash held well and at times it would drop in my lap. I would have to give this stick a grade: D. D for I won't be buying any more of these DARN things.
