Avo Lounge
Avos Lounge is a specially-blended Avo exclusive to Corona Cigar Company. Avo Uvezian is a regular at Coronas lounge, and Corona Cigar describes the Lounge as Avos rarest cigar ever. No matter what the case, the Avo Lounge is a must-try cigar for any aficionado. Here is what Ben and I had to say about it:
Pre-Light: Ben and I are smacked in the face with a minty chocolate scent. Likening it to an Andes mint, we are not sure we have ever smelled this in a cigar before! There is also a slight earthy, musty smell to the cigar as well.
First Third: The chocolate mint didnt carry into the flavors of this cigar, but instead we get prominent earthy tones and a white pepper. These flavors stay for quite a while before the pepper gives way to a mild clove taste. This pleasantly smooth cigar becomes salty and floral at the end of its first third.
Second Third: The salty floral notes, which we agreed tasted a heck of a lot like Play-Doh, continues for another inch or so until the floral fades. Ben gets a hazelnut and salt at this point, and I am struck with more of a cedar and salt flavor. Fairly quickly, though, my cedar fades and I get a strong nut flavor as well. This cigar is quite complex at this point, and the floral notes from earlier are coming back.
Final Third: As we enter the final third of the Lounge, pepper notes start to build up. The salty flavors have left the cigar, and the pepper and floral tastes dominate over a light clove and hazelnut. At the very end, the floral notes disappear and the clove picks up to give us a spectacular finish.
Final smoking time was 2 hours and 5 minutes.
The Avo Lounge is a wonderfully complex cigar, and Ben and I were both very impressed. The Lounge strays away from the typical earthy profile and gives us some incredible floral and nutty flavors. We both agree that this cigar is a must-try. You can order it in five-packs or boxes from Corona Cigar Company, and it comes in a Toro or a Churchill size (we smoked the Toro). We would put the Toro right around $12, which is very close to its retail price ($13). Due to the fact that its only sold from Corona, we are surprised that the retail price isnt higher. Ben and I recommend you get a couple friends together and split a box of these. If you do the ordering, youll get a free Avo punch as well! Special thanks to our good friend Will for giving us these cigars to review!

expect to pay: $13-$14 if you buy a full box; five-packs are available but cost a couple dollars more per cigar.
