  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Size: 5 3/4 x 50
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sun Grown
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic

I found this entire cigar quite boring. I smoke cigars mostly for the flavors they deliver, and this particular cigar had almost zero flavor. Hell, I've had Macanudos that were more exciting. The little flavor that I did find was mild cedar and grass. All other faucets of the cigar (draw, burn, smoke production) were fine. One additional negative aspect concerned the band. It's odd enough to put it on the foot which necessitates removal prior to lighting. However it would not slide off due to excess glue. I had to rip it off - which took some of the wrapper with it when removed. At least with the band in the "normal" place, the heat from the burning cigar can sometimes solve this. Dumb move Avo.

Perhaps this was a oddball sample, but I would not spend any money to find out, especially since these are >$10.

These were a bit of a flop at least where I work. We are trying to move them off the shelf at $8 a piece and it might be BOGO. Needless to say they still don't move but I'll point a novice smoker looking for something really mild towards one of these from time to time.

Really sorry you didn't like it, hopefully that LE10 will be more to your liking.
Hey brother, no worries. Your package was very much appreciated.

This cigar was OK, but as a long-time Avo smoker, I was expecting far more. They really set the bar high with the 22 and LE-05 in years past and have been hard pressed to come close to those flavor bombs. Perhaps this particular blend was one of those that needed to be smoked very young.

Also, at those LE prices, I expect bands to be applied correctly. :angerhead

I hear that, have you tried the AVO Heritage yet? It's a winner in my book!

I love this one. To me it's medium bodied, full flavored, and has that signature Kelner taste that I love. I just had one this morning that was amazing. Different smokes for differnt folks I guess.

Hi, curious to know where you work, and if you guys ship to NY. I may want to grab a box or 2 if you're doing them at $8.
