I will be staying in Hilton Head with my family for Christmas and will be making trips to both Savannah and Charleston. While the women are shopping us men need somewhere to smoke. Anyone know of some good shops there?

While in Hilton Head there is a shop called The Smoke Stack near Sea Pines which is most assuredly a must stop for anyone in the know. Bought a 1/2 full box of MB1s for MSRP and was given the box. Other highlights included Camacho Liberty 03s, LG Diez, LFD Factory Press and slew of other vintage smokes that are just gracing the shelves. Plus if you are a poker man, the tables in the back... anyone welcome, I do recall.

Enjoy.

If your in the great city of Charleston the smoking lamp on east bay is a place to check out. Oh if your in Mt. Pleasant (its just on the other side of the cooper river) go to Towne Center off of Highway 17, there's alot shopping for the girls and a little cigar shop with a friendly staff to kill some time. Just to warn you Charleston and Mt.Pleasant passed a smoking ordnance :argh: about a year back, so its hard to find a nice place to relax and enjoy a cigar without getting hassled :argh: However, I think the smoking lamp has a wavier. Hope you enjoy your time in Charleston!

uncelnino,
Just came from visit to Charleston and I have to recommend that you stop by Lianos Dos Palmas at 52 1/2 Wentworth. They roll some great cigars right there in the store.
At the risk of steering away from some of your business, I really suggest that you try their little corojo cheroots. I was highly impressed by the LFD that you sent me and these looked a 'little' similar, so had to try one. They are not quite in the same league and they are corojo vice ligero, however, they are a very fine, relatively cheap, alternative. Very fine little 30 min smoke priced at about a buck per. Just ordered two bundles for myself.

I also liked Kingston on Sam Rittenberg. Helpful proprieter, good prices and Anejo's in stock right around MSRP. Tinderbox is a very nice, comfortable lounge/store downtown.
