  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey all, I'm back after quite the hiatus with a review of a little cigar that's quickly working its way up my favorites list. It's the AVO Domaine Purito. For those of you who remember, I'm all about the short-time smoke.

For a tin of ten in Yuma, you're looking at a steep 30 bucks, but these can be had for under 20 at most places online. The second I opened the tin and caught a whiff of the sweet horse turd aroma, I knew it had been a good choice.

Apparently they're made by Davidoff, but I can't back that claim up. These had been in the humi for a while as the cello was discoloring, so I can attest that these do age quite well.

If you looking for a 25 minute or so smoke like me, but still enjoy the full on peppery, sweet, and zingloaded intensity of the other side sticks I highly recommend this Entreacto.

At a size of 4x30, it may be small, but still has a lot going for it.

As far as identifiable flavors go, there's not much there other than a sweet, creamy, and peppery thick smoke that I love. A cigar this small isn't going to develop the flavor traits of its larger cousins, but it was nubtastic, nonetheless! Amazingly, it never got hot, even down to the 3/4" remaining.

I enjoyed this stick with a glass of water, but I' d recommend a malty beer or cup of coffee, both should be good :)

Thanks for reading!
