I'm possibly going to be back in Chi-town for a few days next week, 27-30th. I'm going to hit my usual haunts, Ries, Schwartz. I'm thinking about checking out Tesa, looks interesting, only thing is, I see there are 2 different addresses listed, one on Halsted and the other on W Lake st. Are there 2 locations or did they move? Will be checking out Alinea and a Cubs game or 2. Any other places I should check out. I'm fairly familiar with the city but again, haven't been back for 8 or so years so LMK G1

If you look at their website, the W. Lake address is the one shown. I believe they moved into that new location recently. I don't think they still have the other location. You might want to call to find out.

Would also recommend going to Casa de Montecristo in Countryside, if you have a chance.

I used to live not too far from Up down in old town, on Sedgewick. I didn't frequent there much because of their pricing and lack of smoking room. I won't have a car and I'm going to be in the loop for most of the time so if its accessable via El, I may give it a shot. Bummer about Tesa being on W Lake, a little more difficult by public trans. Is Schwartz still closed on the weekends? Friday may be my shop day. G1

Go to Jimmy Figs and you can smoke in there downstairs with your own cigars and enjoy some cocktails.

Thanks! I'm staying at the Allegro so its only a couple of blocks away. My buddy has seasong tix for the Cubs so I'll check out at least one game at Wrigley. Definately going to go by Sam's and Goose Island. Gonna be fun on CTA for 3 days lol. G1

Sounds great! Are there zipcars in Chitown? I'd rent a car but parking is $49 with no in and out priv's so I opted to CTA it this round. If there are, I may try and get out to the leaf on Saturday. G

Packin up for the weekend. How's the weather really there? I see different things on different sites. Depending on weather, I may or may not rent a car and just shoot out west. T, can you still smoke at Figs? I thought you couldn't smoke in any inside establishment in Chitown. Also, did they ever pass the outdoor smoking ban? G1

Yup, you can find ZipCars all around the city. Weather right now....storms and mid 50s. Weekend is supposedly going to be dry and high 60s/70s.

I have heard about cigar smoking at Figs from a couple of people, but never been.
