This is a thread that you can come to when you just need to VENT about how those pocket aces got cracked by trip jacks!

So I'll start...This happened last night at my home game:

We have a re-buy rule where you can re-buy only before the button makes it's first round at the game's opening, and only if you have lost all of your chips to an all-in. You can only do this once.

The very first hand, I end up getting my straight on the turn. Facing a huge raise, I went all in only to be beaten by a higher straight.

So of course, I rebuy.

The very next hand, I flop a straight. The flop reveals a possible diamond flush for someone, so I go all in. I loose to a buddy who had flopped a king high flush!

Ouch!

So there I sat, waiting for the next game...Good thing I had a nice cigar :)

Here's a hand that I had about 5 years ago on Party Poker.

My Hand: A♥, A♠

Flop: A♣, 10♣, A♦

Slow playing I check, player 2 bets minimum and player 3 raises. I call, player 2 calls.

Turn: K♥

I bet minimum, player 2 raises, player 3 raises and both player 2 and I call.

River: K♣

I bet pot, player 2 goes all in, player 3 goes all in creating a side pot and I call.

Final hands

Me: 4 Aces

Player 2: 4 Kings

Player 3: Royal Flush in clubs.

Needless to say that was the last time I played Party Poker for real money.

Not my worst bad beat, but the one that sticks out:
I had KK against KJ clubs

The guy flops Q clubs, turns 10 clubs, rivers A clubs for a royal flush.
