Anybody ever try the "Mille Fleurs"?
These are marevas - petit coronas - in dress boxes of 25,
made by R&J, Partagas, and Ramon Allones.
Each brand has two types - one, machine made and cello-packed : Avoid!
The other is hand finished, marked "Totalmente a mano" (not exactly true!).
These were easily available in Cuba a year or two ago,
and selling for around $25-30 a box.
Even with the price hikes, they should still be less than $50 a box.
The quality is quite good; well-filled, even burning, and decent aromas.
Naturally, the last third gives them away, as they get harsh near the end.
Otherwise, they are nearly impossible to differenciate from true long filler hand-mades.
They tend to sell well here in Canada, since, at around C$10, they are relatively affordable.

Of course a few of these can only be had for <$150 when purchased in 50 cabs ... and when a certain vendor has them on sale. But at that price, you can't pass them up.
what he said.
especially the corona gordas, which some can be found for right at 150/box, some are more expensive though...

FONSECA INVICTOS 25 Cigars ONSU TTH03 $144

these, unlike most Fonsecas are very full bodied & full flavoured; not much complexity

H. Upmann Grand Coronas $120

longer than a PC for less money, with basically the same flavour profile, the '98's in this cigar with red coloured wrappers are especially nice

No one suggested RASCC yet?

I did.
I also want to mention these Bolivar regentes I just got a couple of weeks ago.... 4 7/8 by 34 .These are a great small stick.A lot going on for such petite cigar.I really like them a lot.I got two boxes, same box code(OSU ABR 01) and the wrappers are like night and day from one box to the other. The darker wrappers, nearly maduro in color, smoke a little more complex and mellow, while the lighter wrappers, which are near claro, are spicy and more kick ass,but less complex.I was surprised when I opened both boxes and saw the difference...it seems to have worked out just fine though. They go for a little over $100 a box.

I just had a jose marti robusto extra last night...cheap ($45 for a 25er), but I was really suprised. Only thing holding it back was it got a bit hot at the end, not sure if that was my fault or the 'gars, but I'll throw it out there. Not too strong, but not bland either. From about the 2/3 to the 1/3 point was the highlight. You can't go wrong for that price, and the regular robusto's are an absolute steal. If ya don't like them, they are great handout cigars.

Hang out here for a while and let us take you on a trip to the dark side. Then let us know what you think of those Jose Marti's. :transform

my favorite bargains are:

Boli CJR's
RASS: If you can put in the proper amount of time to age them.I don't like them young.
Sp Beli: They usually can be found with age too.

There are others as well but these come to my mind the quickest.
