Looks like I need a new grill this year. Any recommendations from the pros? We had a weber that's about 10 years old and pretty much would have to gut the insides and replace. We also have another weber that's about 7 years old and was at our beach house but once we sold the house we brought it up here only to find that the salt air pretty much destroyed it. I'm probably going to sell them far parts.

I was looking for something with a side burner and a rotisserie. I've researched a bunch of grills, what caught my eyes have been the Huntington brand of grill, specifically the Rebel series 4 or 5 burner grill. Anyone have these? What are your thoughts ?

TravelingJ threw me down the BBQ slope. I just bought myself a Brinkman Trailmaster and love it. You gotta be willing to go all-charcoal, but this thing is great. You can grill over the firebox, off-set smoke, or grill in the main chamber.

I love the all charcoal smokers with side fireboxes. Like sean said, if you need direct heat you can do it. If you want to smoke ribs low and slow, you can do it. I have a Char-Broil smoker that gets the job done. Of course, no burners. But that is what I have the oven for.

Broil King.

They're pretty awesome and I'm not just saying that because they are made in Canada.

Weber Summit S-670 Gas grill - Rotisserie, side burner, sear burner and smoker box all included!

I'm looking at one close to this, My next grill this spring is going to be a good stainless steel Weber grill. I bought a Charbroil Commericial series like two years ago, the burners kinda suck and the bottom catch pan rusted out. So I'm buying a weber.

Got this from a guy that obviously was scrapping grills at the state park. I sanded it down and mounted it in my front yard. All together I have $15 in it. It's the best damn grill I've ever owned and the iron is so heavy it's hard to steal.

I received one of these as a wedding present and it lasted me more than 20 years.

I switched over to gas about 10 years ago. The convenience of gas is nice but I missed the charcoal taste. Decided to go "old school" again about 2 years ago. It takes a little bit longer to get the charcoal up to speed but IMO it is well worth the wait

Happy to help!

I was all over the place when I was getting fed up with my 14" Weber. I brought it up at dinner with my step dad, a judge for the KC BBQ society, and he told me that I'd be amazed how many people make award winning BBQ, on just a Weber. So, then he taught me a little about it, and gave me a 22" Weber grill. That's now parked at my house, and we keep the new 18" portable Weber in the RV that I use on the road. I smoked our Thanksgiving turkey on it, and have cooked about anything else I could want on there. I have a cheap coleman 'gas grill' that I use outside when I just need 2 stovetop burners out there. Otherwise, I just prefer the food over charcoal.

Yeah, I smoked our T-Day turkey on our old Weber, and then did Christmas brisket on it... I just ran into problems with ours being as old as it was (over 10 years, by my guess - it was my parent's that they had since about 2000 or so) so I went out and got stupid with it. I was always a charcoal guy, but I just kicked it up a notch. ;) Thanks again Justin! :smokingme:smokingme:smokingme

Guess I should mention that I have a weber charcoal grill, an electric smoker and an offset firebox smoker. I'm looking for a gas grill. Preferably non weber because of the past two that I have had not holding up at all for the price IMO.
