I cook on barrels almost exclusively. I have a POS offset barrel smoker that I never use anymore.
I thought, I'm a smart guy, what can I do to make it better.
1. High temp silicone to make the doors seal $7
2. New wheels on all 4 legs $45
3. Rivet a baffle to force the smoke and heat to the other end if the unit. $20
4. Move the chimney to the firebox end so the heat travels to the far end around the baffle and back before exiting $0
Temp is holding with a 10 degree differential from end to end. Not bad for a days work.
