As some of you know, I had a photoshoot last weekend in Chicago for the Illinois State Taekwondo Association shooting the medalists. Over 700+ participants showed up and 350 medalists in both poomsae (forms) and sparring. Job went well and along with the PR firm that handled the event, we were able to book 5 additional events for the Illinois area. I wish I could have spent some time with all of you in the Chi-town area, but this was a hit and run job. Anyways, we cleared expenses easily with just day-of sales and the remaining sales should be coming in shortly after ITSA sends out an email blast to let those that did not know, that the photos are done. Considering the amount of photographs and having to keep the organized so I know who is which photo, I was able to turn them around in 2 days and people have started receiving them this week. The only downside is that one of the kids gave me a cold or something that I've been fighting off.
Today, I got word that my BBQ is ready for pick up, so tomorrow I'm going to try to get down there and get it and hopefully I'll be grilling in a couple days (have to season the cast-iron grates first!!!). It's been almost 7 years since I was able to have a grill since most apartment complex's here don't allow it (fire marshall orders). Once I get it, I'll be sure to post pictures, but here's the link:
