  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Beer trades...anyone up for it?

Since we are fairly dispersed around the country and all have access to different beers I think some of that loves the brew should do some trades.

For example I have Troegs which is a fairly desired microbrew but not everyone can get it. There are some of you from CA that can probably get bottles of Pliny the Elder but not Troegs Nugget Nectar or the Flying Mouflan. http://www.troegs.com/our_brews/flying_mouflan.aspx

Those of that home brew can also trade our creations. Hell mix it up if someone wants to trade some home brew for a commercial version.

So whaddya say?

BTW I'm looking for like two bottles of Pliny the Elder to compare to my home brew version which will be ready to drink in about four weeks. Ahem CA brothers especially if you're near Santa Rosa! Just let me know what you'd like.

I'd be down but I can't seen to find any bottles of Russian River stuff here in Sacramento. Doh. I'll poke around and see if I can find a store that sells it though.

I would be in. Perfect timing as the Brewery Central Waters here in Central Wisconsin just released their once a year beers. I would prefer doing four or six packs, mixed, at a time. Spring is perfect time for me as I love a good Heffe' Weizen. Not a big fan of American Wheat style.

Can anyone still get Founders Nemesis?
I really want to try this beer but Founders is not distributed to my area.
I may be able to. I just picked up some founders yesterday along with two bottles of Dogfish Head raison d'extra from 06! Anyhow I have some very well stocked distributors not too far away from me.

I'm in the Greater Philadelphia area and have access to Sly Fox, Victory Brewing Co, Spring House Brewing Co, Weyerbacher, Stoudt's and Yards Brewing Co. I also have some decent trade bait in my cellar :bottle:

Been wanting bottles of Pliny the Elder and Kate the Great from Portsmouth Brewing or Deschutes Mirror Mirror or the Abyss

As you probably know don't hold your breath for bottles of PtE. That's why this thread exists though!

Beeradvocate let me looking to that Founders Nemesis. I'll check into the distributors. I know they carry founders around me I just need to check on the specific beer. Do you know if it's discontinued or just a special release beer?

Plenty of PtE in bottles where I was looking. They won't ship outside of Cali unfortunately.
The Founder's Nemesis is a special release...I was lucky enough to snag 2 bottles. One to drink very soon and another to lay down for a long nap.
