Bell's Hop Slam

Wow....The new brewery/restaurant down the street (too damn close to my B&M too) just put Bell's Hop Slam on tap. Very limited distribution...They got 1 keg (the entire distributor was give 8 barrels). The beer store up the street (Binny's, big chain around here) was given 10 cases of the stuff, already gone I'm told.

What an amazing beer...the aroma's and hop bite just make me want to crawl in the glass to nap. +10% ABV on top of it!

Hopslam is dangerously easy to drink for having such a high ABV. (Of course, that is why I like it).

Might have to check on it. I have tons of beer in the house right now. Not sure if the wife would like another case around.

Pretty much anything from Bell's is tasty. Oberon is my favorite and would love to have a couple bottles at the Leaf. Will definitely have to try the Hop Slam on tap, but like you said, it will probably be gone quickly.

Hopslam is one of my favorite Bell's beers. The bite fades a little with time, or so I've heard. I cant manage to keep a six pack around for more than a couple days. I think I'll have one tonight!
