Recently picked up a West Bend Poppery 1500w to start roasting my own. So where's the best place to get a bean sampler to start figuring out what I like? I know about Sweet Maria's. Are there others you've tried?

I took a different approach. I’d figure out what you like (if you don’t know already) by drinking some single origins from local roasters and then order five or ten pounds of one bean. For me, it takes me a few batches to figure out how to roast a particular bean and then I make small tweaks to get it perfected.

It’s tough to do that with a sampler.

Burman offers roasting info and gives more info about the flavors in the beans.
Bodhi has the lowest prices, and will tell you the name of the grower's donkey, dog, and how many chickens he keeps.
