Beth Page Black - Need some help

Need some direction from my NY Brotheren.

Every year me and 3 buds head to Augusta for the Masters. We have been doing it since 2000.

This year we are looking for a change.

We want to head to Beth Page and play the Black course.

Does anyone have the "in's and out's" of how to get a lock on times? We woudl like to travel in May. But, there has been so many comments on the difficulty getting a tee time.

Any information/leads would be greatly appreciated.

My brother in law and his 3 buddies go somewhere to golf twice a year. There is a travel company they use that books golf packages at the hard to get in to courses. And they basically give you a package with air, hotel and golf. I can find out the name of the tour company if you like.

I'm not a golfer, but it is a public course and from what I understand you have to get there very early in the day to get your tee time. I'll talk with my friend who is a golfer and get the info.

BTW, I live about 15 minutes from Bethpage, when you are in town, we MUST hook up for cigars!!

And yes Tuba, I will be dumpin them boys at night to hang with you and herf. They don't smoke cigars. I bail from them every year on the trip so I can smoke. They just don't understand.

Rent an RV, and then park the night before to get first in line.
