  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This is cigar 3 of a 3 blind cigar review graciously traded to me by @tobaccowhako in exchange for a blind review. Again I was put to the test to see if I could decipre what cigar this was (answer is on the backside of the cigar). I have no clue what this cigar is!!!

Name: Espresso and dark chocolate
Description: 5 inch with piggie tail and nice chocolate brown wrapper
Foot smell: cedar wood and light almond
Cold draw: hay and cedar

First third: bitter dark chocolate and sweet Cuban coffee espresso, sweet Cedar develops as well as a very low profile of white pepper that builds up to about a 4/10.

Second third: salty almonds, Hay and grass, the sweetness and chocolate have since faded toward the end of this third. Spicyness is almost nonexistant.

Final third: dark chocolate in and out. Saltiness takes over the palate as well as dry hay and grassiness. No spicyness.

Final notes: While not my favorite out of the 3 mystery cigars this cigar smoked evenly and spot on the whole way. The guess should be easy but I do not know what it could be with this cap. I'm stumped!

Put your guesses (brand/blend) in for a chance to win a 5 pack random sampler of cigars. 1 guess per day. Contest ends Thursday at midnight EST (2/27/15).
