  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Blind Cigar Review

I have always wanted to host a blind cigar review. I have a bunch of smokes that I like or are a little htf that I would like to know what some others thought of them without knowing what they're really smoking. So I have been looking through my coolerdor and I figured that I can take 6 people and send out 15 cigars per person. They will all be the same 15 cigars individually numbered. I would like to do at least 2 cigars a week and if everyone is moving through them quicker I will post the results quicker.

The review will be in this format:

Pre-light: The wrapper? Smell?
First 1/3:1-10 with 10 being the highest; Thoughts?
Second 2/3: 1-10 with 10 being the highest; Thoughts?
Final 3/3: 1-10 with 10 being the highest; Thoughts?
Est. cost: Fill in what you believe the estimated cost is
Est. cigar: If you are feeling froggy try to guess!
Rating: I will fill this in by taking the 1/3, 2/3, and final 3/3 and averaging them out
**All reviews will be sent to me via pm and not posted in the thread! I will post them once everyone has finished that cigar.

Post in the thread if you're interested and then PM me. The cost will be $100 which will cover the cigars, ** fees, and shipping. I promise that you will be happy with spending this $100 to get these smokes! (Hint: 15 smokes that average around $10 a stick)

***Please do not feel like I'm looking for only the most experienced smokers, Someone who can give me a minimal review will be nice too. Maybe you will be surprised with yourself at what you will start to notice***

Come on guys!!! I don't need everyone to give a perfect or long review. If you can just say it's spicy and then smoothes out and give me a number 1-10 I will be happy. I'm looking to get a wide variety of people trying them out!

If I could drop 100$ on cigars right now, I would definitely be in.
I do however look forward to the results.

Count me out, I've been lucky to smoke one every 2 - 3 weeks. Are these little cigars? If these are quick 30 min cigars I could do it but I doubt they are. I'm excite none the less.

Man, I'd be all over this if I had the money. VERY cool idea and although I'm a noob, I'd be up for trying something like this out.

Love the idea, have one thought for you. Maybe cut the amount of sticks and cost in half to get more responses.

I passed on an earlier one this year and must pass on this one too. I simply have too many singles, I need to smoke through them this year. Good luck.

I gotta agree with headbanger, if it were 7-8 sticks at 50 bucks I would be all over it. Good luck tho, I can't wait to see what ppl think and what the sticks are.
