Blind Review 5ver anyone?

Ok, here is what I am thinking...I have always loved the idea of getting together 5ish people, and sending each one of them the same cigar (5 different ones) unbanded, and everyone reviews each one on the same thread, probably one a week...

I am willing to send cigars from my stash... I would get together 5 different cigars/sizes/manufacturers, and see if anyone can guess what each one of them is.

Each person would pay MSRP prices for the sampler, and there would be some rare/htf in there...Price would probably be around $55-$65 shipped...All different sizes/vitolas as well...Each person MUST review each cigar, and post at least one photo (even if it is not in focus! LOL!) Reviews do not have to be extensive, but more than "I loved it/I think it sucked" etc...

The idea is to not only see if anyone can tell what they are smoking, but also to perhaps be surprised at smoking something they normally would not, and liking it (or not liking something they thought they would).

As a bonus, if anyone guesses any of the cigars, I will send them another one on me

the fun factor exception is unclear, if thats what we're trying to measure..

case study : hybrid trade on posting blind reviews on legit htf's for minimum msrp $$

by the book?, or by the botl spirit of the letter of the book?.

"violate" isnt jiving much with the gut feeling on this, imho.

Just trying something different. If it is found to violate the rules, then that is the way it goes I suppose...

D, that's a good assessment. A review on a purchase isn't mandatory (per book) and blind reviews have been always been afforded by the host (by spirit). Let's keep it that way :tiphat:
