W2 Review
Let me preface this review by saying my allergies have been all over the place this week. I've traveled to three different regions in the state and we've had some strange weather lately. So my nose isn't exactly 100%
Time: 7:50am - 9:10am
Temp: 80
rh: 53
Stored at: 65rh/73
Size: I forgot to measure it before I started. I want to say it was about 5.75"x50
Construction & Appearance: Obviously with no bands we all picked our cigars based on the sizes we normally smoke and the appearance. This cigar has a beautifully applied belicoso cap, no major veins, and only slightly visible seems. It has the look of a quality cigar.
Pre-Light: Sweet tobacco, Slight Barnyard smell. Draw is perfect.
First 3rd: No spice at all. With slight hints of cedar and raisins. Tobacco has an oaky finish to it. Pretty interesting. Medium body, mild strength. The light grey ash is very tight and the burn is a little wavy. No construction issues.
Second 3rd: Not a lot of change in flavor. I've lost the raisin taste and picked up a hint of spice on the retrohale. Ash is still hanging on tight and the burnline is still wavy but never enough to need a touch up.
Final 3rd: The cedar is gone as well as the spice. I picked up a bit of sweetness again. Not the raisin taste from before, almost like brown sugar, it lasted for about five draws then it was gone again. Stll medium body, mild strength. Ash stayed tight even when I tried to brush it off in the ashtray. Burn line was consistently wavy but never required a touch up.
All in all, I enjoyed this cigar. It had some good flavors to it, I just wanted more of them. I would have no problem smoking this again or giving it to a friend.
Score: 88/100
If I had to guess this cigar I'd say it was a Perdomo Lot 23.
Thanks for reading my review. I'm looking forward to the last two I have
