L2 Blind Review
5x50 Robusto sized stick
Medium brown colored wrapper, veiny, rough feel
Storage reading: 67 degrees, 65% RH
Paired with: Water
Pre Light Draw:
Just a general tobacco flavor, little tiny hint of a cocoa
1st third:
Lots of pepper. Predominate flavors are a sweet leather and little bit of the cocoa from the pre light. Also get these very little hints of a caramel like taste but it seems to appear then disappear quickly. Draw was great, comfortable amount of resistance and tons of smoke although its on the airy side. Burn is good, not straight but it self corrects nicely.
2nd Third:
The cocoa has taken over halfway through. Leather has taken a back seat. Pepper still noticeable on the tongue and back of the mouth. The burn seems to have picked up and is going a tad quicker now. Smoke production, draw, and burn are still doing just fine.
3rd Third:
Nothing new to really report. The pepper tingle has picked up again in the last bit and the sweet leather has made a return as well. It takes on a roasted nut flavor as I progress to the nub.
Overall:
This was a good smoke. Not overly complex but none the less very enjoyable. Great draw, great burn (never needing a touch up) and great smoke production although it was on the airy side.
