  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So I took the wife to the Baltimore airport this morning and on my way home stopped at a well known liquor store. I ended up coming home with a bunch of Belgian ales and a Belgian-style ale. Then two bottles of rum. One is from the Dogfish Head Brewery, I knew they made it but never saw it. The other is Ron Pampero Pampero in a cool leather sack. I think the beer I'm most looking forward to is the Belgian golden ale in the pottery like bottle with the flip top. Hell yeah!

I'll try some tonight. I opened and smelled it and you can certainly smell the honey in it. Doesn't smell as rum-like as some of the other dark rums I have/had.
That is not the only "Spirits" that they make....I'm sure you already knew that though.

Adam, let me know what you think about the Dogfish Head Brown Honey Rum.
Well I've tried the rum. I'm a bit dunk now but I can still taste. It's good stuff. However the honey flavor is certainly prominent but it's a smooth rum with a hint of spiciness. I still think Zaya or Zacapa are better but for $25 in MD it's not that bad for a bottle of American crafted rum.
