  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'm in Boston this evening and tomorrow night. I've already hit Gloucester Street Cigars and plan to hit Masters. Message me if you want to meet up for a smoke. I'm staying by Copley Square.

Let me know how Masters is. I'm looking for a place for the 12th. Was considering Masters or Churchills for an evening of smokes. Any insight is welcomed.

Churchill has a small selection and you can typically bring your own, if you buy.

Masters they frown on you bringing your own.

Masters has way better drinks, but is more expensive.

I would recommend the place in the N. End if you are bringing your own as they charge a cutting fee and also have the best drinks.

I ended smoking at both Gloucester St and Cigar Masters.

CM has the better selection but considerably higher prices. Rent is probably higher at CM. CM has some nice ladies working the bar. I would not smoke in the back of the store ever again. My eyes were really messed up as well as my sinuses as a result. The smoke removal system seems to work ok in the front and near the bar. The music gets louder and more upbeat after 10 pm.

Gloucester Street is only a few blocks from CM. Jose and Gene work the place. Limited seating but good for a good afternoon/evening of low key chilling out. No liquor license but it looked like you could byob or pour and tip to work around it.

Two completely different environments. Both were within walking distance for, The Westin so I didn't venture beyond the local Back Bay area.

Thanks
