Boston Next Week

Been trolling through some of the Boston threads (such as this one: http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php?t=52612) - wanted to see if I could get a refresh from anyone here.

I'm heading to Boston for a few days for a training course... catching a game Sun at Fenway and then probably hitting a bar or two afterwards.

Any good B&Ms I need to hit (that aren't temporarily closed), or any events going on? I've got essentially Sunday night and Monday night available.

There's a few places in Boston you can sit to have a smoke. There's Stanza dei Sigari, Churchill's Lounge, and Cigar Masters. Stanza dei Sigari is expensive even for Boston but it's in the North End where you can get some good Italian food. Try Giacomo's. I've not been to Churchill's Lounge yet. I haven't been to Cigar Masters in a long while but I remember them having a comfortable lounge. Their selection was a bit thin then but it's been over three years since I was last there. They have a bar with beer and wine. I don't remember if they serve liqour. They're also located near a lot of stuff like Newbury St.

By the way, the prices per stick here might come as a shock to you. Our tax on cigars is pretty high. You've been forewarned.

If you're up for the drive, about an hour north of us is Federal Cigar in Plaistow, NH and Top Shelf Cigar in Epping, NH, home to some fine smokes and some baller ass BOTL. You're sure to run into a good time up there.

American Craft Beer Fest

I've been a few times and it's a paradise if you love beer.

Cigar masters usually has a really good selection and is in a good location.
They only serve beer and wine.
No booze.
But the prices are pretty high and if you bring your own they are fairly strict on the $10 cutting fee per cigar(no fee if you buy one of their cigars, but they want you to smoke their cigars at the boston location).

Churchills is a lower end lounge, but also in a great location.
They have a very limited selection.
Prices are more reasonable than CM above.
I dont remember if they have booze or wine. They definately have beer.
But if you buy one of their cigars you can bring and cut your own.

I think Im tied up both Sunday and Monday evenings.
Keep us posted here if my plans change I would head out for a stick.

perfect... I think I may have to check out Cigar Masters - looking for the best selection. I probably would've looked up G Street but I'm assuming they are still closed? Too bad, too - short walk from my hotel.

Where are you staying and how long will you be in town. I have a case in Boston Tuesday and can maybe meet up after.

I'll be there through Wednesday afternoon for a training course. I'm landing Sun am to go to the game, and then will be in the class until 5 or 5:30. Tues night I might be cramming for an exam, but I could probably get away for a few. Alternatively, I'll be there Wed afternoon - the exam probably ends mid-day and my flight isn't until 4:30ish.
