This place IS my vacation
Okay! It's finally time! Been waiting for this for a while. This will be the last cigar that i smoke in the house that i have lived in all my life. So, what better to smoke?
The wrapper looks very oily and i love the color. I got a very complex prelight smell; mostly of sweet espresso. The draw was fantastic and the cap cut wonderfully.
The first few draws had a very pepin-esque peppery and spice flavor to them. Very interesting taste that left me thinking about the present flavors. The smoke is thick and smells great. that spice quickly mellowed out to a sweet cedery taste that i absolutely loved! I can def tell these are new sticks. the ash isnt holding well at all but who cares? lol this is a great cigar!
im loving this sweet cedar taste but i feel like there's something else here that i cant pick up on. i like it! i was having a rough time keeping it lit for about half an inch at the 1/2 way point, however. def. a complex smoke! The spice is def heating up as i near the finale. man, i cant wait to see how these do with age!
