I have been using the Boveda 70% packs for sometime now and have loved their success. I keep hearing great things about the Puck and beads. I have never had great luck keeping the humidity controlled with traditional humidification methods. Which system is the most ideal under So Cal conditions?

Boveda starts to get costly when you have 6 humidors.

Beads are cheaper to use. They are also very accurate. More mailtainance than the Bovedas. The Bovedas are the most easy, brainless humidification to use, but the do cost more long term. My advice would be to do what I do, Use Both.

i do a combo of beads and bovedas. as long as i maintain the beads, the Bovedas could last for years. then if i neglect the beads a little bit, or i am away, and the beads dry out a bit, the bovedas will keep things nice for my cigars.
