  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cain F as it burns.

As requested I will be reviewing a Cain F. A special thanks goes out to Brooks on this one. He was nice enough to gift me two of these. I smoked the first one right after I got it but I let this one set another week or two. This isn't the best looking stick I've seen. It has some rather large veins running through it and looks a little rough, but damn it they taste good. I can tell you from the first one that I am in for a strong and spicy treat. Well it's lit. Let's see how it goes.

Well as expected I'm getting a very strong spicy pepper taste which I just love in a cigar. This makes me glad I just had a good size dinner first.

It's still very strong with lots of pepper. There hasn't been any real flavor changes but it's perfect just the way it is. It's producing gobs of thick, creamy, and smooth white smoke. It has a perfect burn and ash thus far.

The burn is razor sharp and the ash is rock hard.

This thing just keeps getting stronger! The ash lasted well past the half way point before it fell off. Right on my keyboard of all places. This thing is even stronger than the T110 if I remember correctly.

Towards the end here I'm picking up a new flavor. The flavor of cedar is replacing the pepper but it's still strong as ever.

I just am not ready for this bad boy to end so I broke out the toothpick to nub it with. I am getting a strong buzz from this one. This has to be the strongest stick I have ever had.

As much as I enjoyed the Habano and Maduro Cain's I think the F is just a stunning cigar!

Thanks for the review. Those have been on my try list for a while. Just need to bite the bullet. Was that the double toro habano?

I absolutely love the Cain Maddie. The Habano is pretty good. Heven't been able to find the F as yet. Sounds like it might be the best of the 3!

The Cain F, which stands for Fuerte, is a special edition in the Cain series. These sticks are 82% ligero compared to the 77% ligero in the maduro line. These 5 packs were available to retailers who took advantage of a special purchase order from Oliva cigars. In turn Oliva provided shops with these 5 packs to either a) sell or b) offer as a freebie to those who purchased a full box.

Cigar: Cain F
Size: 5 x 50 (Robusto)
Wrapper: Fuerte (Nicaragua)
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua (Jalapa, Condega, Esteli)
Strength: Full!

Yep....I really enjoyed this cigar as well.

Another thing I liked about it is that it seemed to burn a rather long time for it's size. Anyone else notice that...or am I just crazy?

Love the F, got a 5er when I bought a box of the maduros, spoke with the rep and he said there is a slight possibility they could go into production due to the overwhelming response.
Do not know if he blowing smoke ( pun intended )
