  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just got word from Gabby @ Havana Humidor that the torpedo F's just came in...
Gonna go over there in a bit and light one up!
Pics will follow.

Anyone get their hands on any size F (full line)

8 bux a stick. and 10% off a 5er. not bad at all for what should be a great smoke.
Lots of brothers liked the original F.

Great start to this stick. Very oily wrapper!! I fell it! has nice weight to it.
Smooth, great color throughout the box. very little color variation. one larger vein on the wrapper, with many tiny ones. Rolled nicely.
Smells rich, and prelight draw... COFFEE!!!
It has a perfect draw, and started with great flavor. nothing is lacking so far!

A bit past the half way mark. Still enjoying it. It's got that same original F zing to it. Still great flavors, but I'm not the guy to pick out every last flavor from a cigar...
Burn is lazer sharp. burning evenly. I feel the oils on my hand.

I did not get to finish it as I was smoking very slow... and had to go to work. had about 1/5 left of it... but loved every bit of it.
I like the kick it has... subtle, then all the sudden... you feel it!!

Have not tried one myself, but was talking to a friend in the cigar world yesterday (a friend who's opinion I greatly respect) who hated the first two cains (i.e. could not even finish them) and said that he loved it... really, really liked it.

So hope that helps...

I have had all the Cains, the are OK. I personally wouldn't buy them again though. I can't imagine that Cain F Nub will be any good.

I do not like the "nub" size cigars... huge ring short cigars are not my thing.

Had the F 550 this evening at Tower. Terrific cigar. Same as the robusto, spice with a very rich flavor. Tower just got them in, all three sizes.

I loved the original F robusto and I'm really looking forward to trying the others in the line. I have to admit that I'm very intrigued by the Cain F Nub and I'm really looking forward to trying it.

I really hope they have the same taste as the pre release F's.
Has anybody compared the two?
It's pretty damn close in my book. I'll have to smoke one of each back to back to say for sure... but I am very happy with the new ones... just like the original.

I was gonna pick-up the torpedo last night but was able to get the OR Cain F 5'er for $17.50 and I couldn't pass on that price.
