The Chosen One

Caldwell: The Last Tsar
Samples smoked: 2
Smoking time: 1h15m
Appearance: Belicoso 5x52, medium brown wrapper with minimal veins. Very firm.
Smell: cedar and light fruity sweetness reminiscent of a banana
Cold draw: fruity sweetness

1st Third: cream, cedar, toastiness, red pepper 7/10, cherry, pepper is very heavy on palate and retrohale.

2nd third: Sweet ginger spice, raisin, nuttiness hint, ending with leather.

Last third: semisweet red pepper, raisin, saltiness, roasted coffee beans, grass, mineral and leather tastes finish up the end.

Final Thoughts: Whilst this was a very tasty cigar, the $18 MSRP price tag it carries makes me shy away from pursuing another box of 10. The construction on this cigar as well as the burn were spot on with both sticks. It also had a diverse array of flavors throughout the cigar. I would definitely recommend trying one if you have the money to splurge if you can even find them soon enough!
