Hoshneer
Drew Estate NotRex
Wrapper - Thick, toothy and milk chocolate in color.
Prelight Aroma - A nice sweetness with earthy tobacco notes and just a touch of spice.
First light notes - I get a lot of sweetness. I am pretty sure it's from the barrel aging and it's not an overwhelming flavor but you can tell it's there.
1/3rd - Sweetness is still dominant but I am getting some nice tobacco flavors on the background still with just a tiny touch of spice.
2/3rd - Sweetness has backed off a bit and spice is kicking up really enjoying the midpoint.
Last 3rd - The sweetness is suttle and the cigar has ramped up into a high medium intensity. The ligero is definitely present now and is shining through. This cigar is really good for something that I am considering as somewhat infused. I have a feeling I'm gonna nub this bastard.
Final thought - While I am a little hesitant smoking barrel aged cigars because they can most of the time be filled with an overwhelming flavor of whatever liquor that the barrel was aged in I really enjoyed this one. I would consider this a box worthy cigar. Definitely a try.
